Westlife set to welcome 2023 at Dublin’s New Year Festival

Westlife will be performing at Dublin’s New Year Festival 2023. The New Year’s Festival will be held over two days in Dublin, with a pristine Festival Village and two countdown celebrations along North Wall Quay.

Speaking about the New Year’s festival, Westlife noted that 2022 is the band’s one of the most successful years, with sold-out stadium engagements in Europe, Ireland, and Asia. It further said that the tour continues with more than 70 events throughout the world.

Dublin’s first full-scale New Year celebration after two years

After 2019, this is the capital’s first full-scale New Year’s Festival in Dublin, and it serves as a star event for Dublin’s winter campaign, attracting tourists worldwide. This year’s celebration has a packed schedule of arts, music, and activities in Dublin City on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.




On December 31, a family-friendly matinée show will be organised at 4 PM, followed by an evening show at 8 PM. A slew of top Irish artists and DJs, including Gavin James and Lyra, will play live on six stages along North Wall Quay. The festival village will also have lots of local entertainment and culinary pleasures. Tickets will be available for sale at Ticketmaster on November 17 at 9 AM.
