According to a source familiar with the case, Jason was terminated after he yelled at his co-workers on December 6 during a "Jason Carr Live" morning program. After that day, the host's bio does not show up on the staff page of Local 4. Jason's face and name have been removed from the WDIV website's "Meet the Local 4 Team" page.
Reports state that Jason was let go from the show after he expressed his frustration with his co-workers. The Detroit News also revealed in a story that Jason targetted his co-workers in frustration on December 6. Sources familiar with the matter stated Jason first shouted at his fellow workers, following which management took him off the air. However, when Jason came back on the air, the host started criticising the show's management for taking him off.
Notably, Jason Carr has been in association with Local 4 since 2016. He also has a significant fan following on social media platforms. Earlier, Jason had a job at WJBK-TV Fox 2. He graduated from Michigan State University. The host is married to Taryn Asher, a reporter at Fox 2.
