Water pipe burst causes floods in London. Residents stuck in their homes
Roads have been submerged 4 feet deep after a 36-inch water main burst in north London.

The London Fire Brigade has jumped into action and is helping residents ferry along the Hornsey Road in the Holloway area of North London. About 70 firefighters and ten fire engines from Islington, Stoke Newington, Kentish Town, Holloway and surrounding areas have been deployed to fix the problem.
The water level can be seen reaching the bumpers of cars. According to a Tollington Arms staff member on Hornsey Road, the incident occurred around 7 a.m. and within a few minutes, there was a sea of water across the streets. He hoped that things would get back to normal as soon as possible as it could affect the business. The pub has also warned its followers to avoid the area by putting a video on Twitter showing the deep water spreading through four separate roads from the main junction.

Cars and buses can be seen moving at a snail's pace through deserted intersections. London Fire Brigade (LFB) and Thames Water crews are also at the scene, wading through water in high-visibility suits. The flooding has occurred amid warnings about water depletion across London and the South of England, with yet another heatwave expected this week. The mercury is set to soar up to 30C but won't reach the level that Brits witnessed in July. Over 2 million people across Sussex and Kent have already been barred from cleaning their cars, watering their gardens and filling up pools.
