Suffering the beginnings of a mild stroke Julie Chin, a news anchor for Oaklahoma KJRH, started to stammer and stutter with her words and her eyes were closing involuntarily while the broadcast was on. She immediately gathered herself to say that she was sorry and that something had been happening since morning with her.
She directly passed on her segment to the meteorologist. The next day Chin updated her Facebook page and wrote that her colleagues called up an ambulance. Her doctors believe that she suffered a mild stroke while going live on air and apologised to the people who watched it as the matter unfolded.

Julie said this happened all of a sudden and came in like a 'bolt from the blue'. She said that she felt great before the show, and it all began well after she had started part of the show. She immediately tried to focus on the words before her on the teleprompter, but she could not do as much as she tried to. She directly passed it on to the meteorologist, who assured her they all loved her as Julie explained her situation. But unable to do so, the camera focussed on the meteorologist who took over from Julie.
