Warner Bros Discovery could be developing a new Harry Potter adaption as suggested by President Gerhard Zeiler. The top exec also indicated that the company might also be working on new DC Comics and Game of Thrones adaptions as well.

During his keynote speech at the RTS London, Zeiler discussed the future plans of the entertainment media behemoth, including the company’s most successful franchises. He said that Warner Bros would focus on developing “tentpole” franchises, including Harry Potter, DC Comics and Game of Thrones.

Warner Bros has adapted the Harry Potter fantasy novels written by J.K. Rowling into the super-successful movie series, spread across eight blockbuster films. The studio also created a spin-off series of Harry Potter, Fantastic Beast, which wasn’t as successful as the original series. While Zeiler didn’t confirm the speculations, there have been strong rumors of a TV series on the franchise in the recent past.
