Unique Alfa Romeo Giulia SWB Zagato coupe has been showcased

According to Zagato, the project was started to commemorate 100 years of working with Alfa Romeo, the current Giulia model, and the V6 engine. The Giorgio platform was first condensed on which the Giulia and Stelvio are both constructed. Then, it produced a striking coupe that incorporates a few stylistic influences from a number of both former and current Alfa cars. Air intakes, including one that resembles the Alfa grille, dominate the front end, which also has a set of LED headlights that resemble Tonale. The coupe has a tall hood, a short rear end, and a double-bubble top panel made of carbon fibre that is left unpainted. The back end also has a large air diffuser and a thin, curved light bar.



The 1989 SZ that Zagato assisted in designing was one of several vehicles that inspired designers. Still, the Giulia SWB isn't in any sense overtly vintage or old-fashioned. It has body panels made of carbon fibre and a 2.9-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine that was modified to meet GTAm requirements and installed in the Giulia Quadrifoglio. Although technical details were kept under wraps, the GTAm's six is tuned to produce 540 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque. Zagato had a significant edge when it came to the engine of the Quadrifoglio because the V6 drives the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. Exclusively available with an eight-speed automatic transmission is the limited-edition GTAm.
