Suella Braverman, the Home Secretary of the United Kingdom, has warned the British citizens to "think carefully" before making arrangements to go outside the country this Christmas.

Braverman said that planned Border Force strikes would "undeniably" create significant inconvenience to hundreds of thousands of passengers attempting to utilize ports and airports. The home secretary revealed that she intends to use the military to replace the positions of striking employees.

The Public and Commercial Services (PCS) union has declared strikes at Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow, Gatwick, Heathrow and Manchester airports, as well as Newhaven port on December 23 and 26, as well as between December 28 and 31.
