Prince Andrew's scandal-hit life has been rolled into a musical satire that will air on Channel 4 to mark its 40th birthday.
The broadcaster declared that the musical is designed to celebrate the channel's 'irreverent, radical and iconoclastic roots.'
Comedian Kieran Hodgson has penned Prince Andrew: The Musical. He will also steer the character of the Duke of York. Along with the royal's notorious Newsnight interview with Emily Maitlis, the programme will explore other vital events, controversies, and relationships of Prince Andrew's life.
The ruinous interview recorded inside Buckingham Palace in 2019 was a planned attempt to spoil control after he was linked to Giuffre. Andrew refused having alleged relations with Giuffre or even meeting her. He said that the situations relating to his association with Jeffrey Epstein had caused significant disruption to him and his family's work.
Andrew's personal life has been a focus for the British tabloids and the public after his divorce from Sarah Ferguson in 1996. He took a break from royal work and distanced himself from the general public.

Channel 4 has repeatedly mentioned that its different status as a public-owned broadcaster allows it to create programmes that for-profit broadcasters could not manage to make. It has recently noted massive financial results.
The Boris Johnson-led government has planned to sell the channel. The decision often annoys Conservative MPs, arguing that it would enter the private sector.
Liz Truss, maybe the next Prime Minister, has referred in support to the sale that could be next year. So the new program declarations could be among the last shows operated under Channel 4's existing operating model.

The new plan can either be an attempt to wind up the politicians who plan to privatize the channel or a hint at a midlife crisis.
Ian Katz, Channel 4's show boss, said the new agendas were a pile-up of thought-provoking, irreverent, and highly entertaining programs that no other broadcasters would telecast. He added that if they must age, they plan to age disgracefully.
