Stressing the importance of energy security and climate, Rishi Sunak, the new Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, said that both go "hand in hand."

Leaders from 120 countries met in Egypt in the holiday town of Sharm El-Sheikh. Topics discussed were compensation and support for the affected countries.

Rishi Sunak pointed out that Russian President Vladimir Putin's abhorrent war in Ukraine was a reason to act faster on climate-related issues. UK PM said there was hope yet for handing out a greener planet for our children with a prosperous future.


Leaders across the globe beseeched rich countries to act for a greener and more conducive climate and stay the course as set in Glasgow a year earlier.
