UK Weather forecast indicates torrential rains, brutal gusts followed by snowfall

• River Avon - Bristol, Pill, and Shirehampton
• River Derwent - Stonethwaite Beck and Derwent Water
Speaking for the Met Office, presenter Aidan McGivern said that there would be rain outbreaks for western Scotland and Northern Ireland, which would push toward north and west England, and Wales. McGivern predicted that the southeast would remain dry with sunny spells.
