In the past two months, we have seen some high-class political upheavals in the UK, with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak emerging as the new Prime Minister. However, compared to Liz Truss' administration, Rishi Sunak has avoided scuffles, especially within its own party, and maintained a calm and serious environment. However, with the waves of strikes impending, the new government will face severe challenges, according to a BBC report.

What is all about the upcoming strikes across the country?

There is a barrage of strikes upcoming for the new Rishi Sunak government. From health workers who are striking in Northern Ireland to bus drivers, baggage handlers, road workers, posties, nurses, rail workers, and driving test examiners, all have been preparing for this since day one of the Sunak government.

While the ministers hope to settle the disputes, they are in mitigation mode. The ministers are considering emergency meets amid strikes. The UK emergency response team, called COBRA, is holding a meeting today and will repeat the same on Wednesday.
