Newly appointed British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak got a direct taste of genuine public opinion. On Friday, while visiting South London's Croydon University Hospital, a patient advised the prime Minister to try harder to find solutions on nurse’s pay. The elderly lady patient was explicitly referring to the nurses’ pay and better health services, both topics of hot debate in the U.K. currently.

Beyond spending cuts

Consecutive British governments in the last few months have been considering expenditure cuts across several sectors to reign rising inflation. People, however, are already complaining about poor health facilities. The Nurses' union also, is contemplating a strike.
They are good, but the government doesn't bother.

When Rishi Sunak enquired about the services provided by the hospital staff, the elderly lady said the staff are excellent but are not paid adequately. The lady added that you need to do more; you should try harder to find a solution.

The new Prime Minister must find an acceptable solution to the critical issues soon.
