On November 17, starting at 11:30 GMT, Chancellor Jeremy Hunt will address the House of Representatives. Spending cuts account for approximately 55% of the measures, amounting to £30 billion, while tax increases are anticipated to account for approximately 45% of the measures, or £24 billion. Instead of £150,000, the top tax rate will now apply at £125,000.

All government departments will receive a cut in expenditure except for the health budget. From April, the annual energy costs for millions of households will increase by several hundred pounds.

As the Energy Price Guarantee increases, a family using a certain quantity of gas and electricity will pay more than £3,000. Only low-income individuals and pensioners will receive special assistance now.

For assistance with funding that supports the windfall, taxes will be increased. The state pension and benefits will increase with inflation, though this has not been formally confirmed. The National Living Wage will rise from £9.50 per hour for those over 23.

Some of the autumn statements will have an impact on the entire UK. Scotland's finance secretary has announced spending cuts totaling £615 million on top of the $560 million cuts previously announced in September.
