Cemal Akın, the Bartin Mayor, said they are making eminent effort together with “relevant institutions and organisations” for the rescue.

Fire’s still there:

According to Fatih Durmaz, the energy minister of Turkey, most of the 15 trapped miners are in the mine’s gallery, and efforts are ongoing to rescue them from there.
There’s a fire in the gallery but not a “huge fire”, he said. He added that the fire and carbon monoxide need to be eliminated to “get there safely”, he said.
