TRNSMT Music Festival: Singer Paul Heaton treats fans with free drinks. See details
Singer Paul Heaton has sponsored drinks at five Glasgow bars for fans attending Scotland's biggest music festival, TRNSMT. Heaton will also perform on the stage. The generous gesture seems to be his way of expressing gratitude.

Heaton took to social media to make the announcement about his plan. On the singer's Twitter and Facebook accounts, a post said, "Paul is leaving some money behind the bar at a few local pubs near to TRNSMT festival so that some of you can have a drink on him tomorrow afternoon (or until the money runs out, or the bar runs dry!)."
This isn't the first time that Heaton has shown his appreciation for his fans. Last year, on the occasion of his 60th birthday, he generously sponsored 60 beverages for Neighbourhood festival attendees. Since then, he has continued this tradition of spreading joy and cheer.
The establishments involved in Heaton's act of providing free drinks to fans during TRNSMT are:
226 Gallowgate, 226 Gallowgate
The Old Burnt Barns, Lynch's Bar, 179 London Road
The Braemar Bar, 147 London Road
The Tolbooth Bar, 11 Saltmarket
With the festival set to kick off on Friday, fans can look forward to an exciting line-up that includes legendary Britpop band Pulp, along with performances by Sam Fender and The 1975 over the weekend.
