With Halloween coming in a few days, the 'Fortnitemare' event has started, introducing Halloween themes to the game. Some of the latest additions, like the Willow Tree boss and Chicken Zombie, are somewhat scary for the players. Other assets are more Halloweeny and welcoming despite being spooky. The Jack-O-Lanterns are one such addition. They can be found all over the island, and just like in the real world, they are carved from ripe pumpkins and look like scary faces. The developers have added an achievement for breaking five of them, and the players receive 15,000 XP. As they don't move, it gives you some easy XP.
Here are some steps to get the XP:
Landing in a secluded area:
Jack-O-Lanterns are usually found all over the island, but specific POIs are hot-drop locations; avoiding landing in those areas is better. Thus, it is better to land in a place that isn't a frequent early-game fighting spot. An excellent example of such locations is Synapse Station, Fort Jonesy, and Shiny Sound.
