Tragic stabbing in London: Teenage girl fatally stabbed after rejecting flowers

A very sad event happened in Croydon, South London. A 15-year-old girl lost her life while going to school. We don't know her name yet. It seems that right after she said no to a boy who offered her flowers, something terrible happened.

People who saw it say the trouble started on a big double-decker bus. The girl, her friends, and kids from the other school were arguing. Then, things got worse when they got off the bus near a shopping place. Even though ambulance workers tried to save her, the girl didn't make it.

A 17-year-old boy was arrested later in New Addington and is being held in custody, the police told us.
