The 2023 edition of the Tour de France commences on Saturday in Spain, marking the start of cycling's most prominent race! The opening stage covers a distance of 182 kilometers, roughly 113 miles, as it traverses the Basque Country, beginning and concluding in the city of Bilbao. The race runs for 23 days and has 21 stages.

The cycling race commences on July 1 and goes till July 23, promising an energized tour and a jackpot for the ultimate winner worth $545,257. The race covers a total distance of 3,328 kilometers, roughly 2,068 miles.

Viewers in the UK have multiple options to watch the Tour de France 2023. They can catch the Grand Depart live on Eurosport 1 and ITV4, with the coverage commencing at 11 am BST. Alternatively, for those who prefer online streaming, they can avail themselves of a free live stream on ITVX. Eurosport's coverage can also be accessed online via Discovery+ or through the Sky Go app for Sky TV subscribers.

In the United States, the recommended choice for watching the Tour de France is Peacock. This platform offers daily live coverage of every stage of the event.
