Tim Allen provides update on Jay Leno's health. Here are details

According to Jay Leno's buddy Tim Allen, the Grossman Burn Center is taking excellent care of him. The Toy Story star, 69, chatted with TMZ as he was leaving a medical clinic in West Hills, California, and stated that things are looking up for Leno after sustaining horrific burns in a garage gasoline fire.

In a video, Allen stated that he is feeling better. He had his automobile mags with him. They made some jokes, as they always do. They expressed their sympathies. When asked how Leno's face looked after the accident, Allen quipped that it didn't look all that great, to begin with, but added that he still looks terrific.

Allen's update comes less than a week after Leno, 72, was tinkering on a steam engine beneath a vehicle in his garage when the fire started.




Leno was dragged from underneath the car and is currently suffering from severe burns to his face, chest, and hand. According to Dr. Peter Grossman, medical director of the Grossman Burn Center, Leno is doing well after having a surgical excision and grafting surgery for his wounds.

Leno has also been undergoing aggressive hyperbaric oxygen therapy at the medical clinic, which according to Grossman, should increase the oxygenation of the plasma in the blood, resulting in higher oxygen circulation throughout the body.
