‘This Is Me…Now’: Singer Jennifer Lopez says new album talks about rekindled romance with actor Ben Affleck
Nearly 17 years after abrogating their engagement in 2004, Lopez and Affleck re-entered the relationship in 2021.

As per media reports, these songs will be an updated version of the 13 songs belonging to Lopez’s ‘This Is Me...Then’ album, which came out in 2002. And those 13 songs were heavily inspired by the highly publicised romance between Lopez and actor Ben Affleck.
Lopez told Lowe that new records show that she has reunited with the love of her life and both have decided to live “together forever”. She also said that the message conveyed by the album is that “love exists”.
She continued by saying that the “vulnerable” message she wants to share scares her. It also scares Ben, “parts of it,” at least, she added.
Nearly 17 years after calling off their engagement in 2004, the pair re-entered the relationship in 2021. While reflecting on that time in the past, she admitted that due to the pain of the break-up, she refused to perform songs from her 2002 record that was inspired by Affleck, which includes songs like ‘Dear Ben’.
She further added that she “couldn't get it right” for the next 18 years, but now 20 years later, the story has a “happy ending”.
The new record contains several songs whose titles refer to the couple's reunion, including Midnight Trip to Vegas and Greatest Love Story Never Told.
The album ‘This Is Me… Now’ is expected to arrive next year though nothing has been said officially.
