Christian Bale investigates a murder in 1830s upstate New York in the teaser for the forthcoming thriller "Pale Blue Eye."

The Netflix picture also stars Gillian Anderson, Lucy Boynton, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Charlie Tahan, Harry Lawtey, Toby Jones, Timothy Spall, Gideon Glick, Simon McBurney, Fred Hechinger, Robert Duvall and Hadley Robinson, in addition to Bale and Melling. Scott Cooper, with whom Bale collaborated on 2013's "Out of the Furnace" and 2017's "Hostiles," wrote and directed "The Pale Blue Eye."
Cooper and Bale co-produce alongside Tyler Thompson of Cross Creek Pictures and John Lesher of Grisbi Productions. Dylan Weathered of Grisbi and Tracey Landon executive produce.
