The Cambridgeshire criminals: List of criminals jailed over the last week

The Cambridgeshire Police Department maintains a constant and diligent presence on the streets, working around the clock to track criminals and bring them to justice. New people are always booked into the county prison each week, and this week is no exception. Contrarily, two people were locked up in Cambridgeshire jails this week. They commit a wide range of crimes, from burglary to theft.

All in all, they've been behind bars for over three years. Just recently, one of the guys on this list was released from prison, only to be promptly returned.

Marcus Sapra

A shoplifter was sent back to prison after just a week of freedom. Marcus Sapra was released from Cambridge on November 8 after serving 12 weeks for theft-related charges. After his release on November 10, he attempted shoplifting chicken wings from the Co-op on Milton Road, and on November 12, he stole alcohol from the Tesco in Cherry Hinton. Sapra, 35, of Cambridge's St. Bedes Crescent, was arrested with a knife on Saturday.

Jason Turner

The man who broke into a Cambridge home stole a car and credit cards and was sentenced to jail. On the morning of May 25 at 4:45 a.m., Jason Turner walked up a residence on Scholars Walk driveway while holding an uncorked bottle of wine. He began by attempting to open a side door before going to the main entrance.
