Thank You!: Starbucks offers free drink to NHS workers
Ahead of Christmas, Starbucks has offered a free tall drink to NHS employees in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland on Wednesday.

Starbucks offers a free drink for third time
Alex Rayner, Starbucks UK’s general manager, hopes this modest gesture provides all NHS staff with the chance to take a minute to enjoy this holiday time and reflects Starbuck’s tremendous gratitude to the NHS for everything that they do all year round. Starbucks and NHS Charities Together collaborated on the initiative, which links Starbucks locations with 230 local NHS charities.
Along with Starbucks, other food and beverage companies provide freebies or discounts to NHS employees. With a Blue Light Card code, NHS employees can enjoy 25% off at Pizza Hut after 3 PM and 25% off meals at Beefeater.
They can also get a 20% discount at McDonald’s when they register on the app using an NHS email, while Nando’s offers 20% off purchases up to £20.
