Stratford Town FC player Cody Fisher stabbed to death in Birmingham nightclub on Boxing Day; police issues fresh appeal
Cody Fisher, a footballer of England’s Stratford Town Football Club(FC) was stabbed in The Crane nightclub in Birmingham. Police have been probing Fisher’s mysterious murder.

Police have started an investigation into the murder of the 23-year-old footballer and are checking the CCTV footage of the venue. Fisher died 30 minutes after he was stabbed despite the efforts to save him.
Police have questioned a lot of people who were present in the nightclub on that day but are looking for people who have witnessed or recorded the incident. They haven’t made any arrests so far in the stabbing case.
Michelle Thurgood, Detective Inspector leading Fisher’s murder case said that police believe that a group of people approached and stabbed Fisher on that night. Thurgood expressed deep condolences for Fisher’s murder who was stabbed while enjoying himself with friends on a Boxing Day night out.
Police have been keeping vigil on the area and club which will remain closed until the evidence against the mishap is collected. They have appealed to people for information and even left a link for people to submit any information, photos, and videos that they may have filmed of the stabbing incident.
