For the annual charity football match, Soccer Aid 2023 is going to return to Manchester this weekend.

The much-anticipated match will be played at Old Trafford, which is the home of Manchester United. The star-studded game will be played between the England team, which has some big names from the past and present and their counterparts from around the world.

In 2022, a record-breaking £15,673,728 was raised. With a 4-1 penalty shootout win, the World XI team last year had moved ahead in the overall head-to-head clashes by 6-5.


In 2006, singer Robbie Williams had come up with this UNICEF charity event. The annual event brings major players from the celebrity and sporting worlds together to play the game of football.

Soccer Aid 2023: When and Where?


Soccer Aid 2023 is scheduled to happen at 7.30 pm BST on Sunday (June 11). On ITV, the TV coverage of the game will start at 6.30 pm BST. It will be held at Old Trafford in Manchester this year.
