Singer Britney Spears has announced that her much-awaited duet with legendary singer Elton John would be releasing on August 26. Spears revealed the information her official Instagram. The blonde singer is recognized for decades of No. 1 hits, iconic duets, and an unbelievably insane collection of sunglasses.

Elton John's Instagram post is a photo of both of them as young kids, and the caption reads, "Hold Me Closer' In the photo, John is next to a piano. The duet will be Spears' first genuine new record in nearly six years. It will be a fresh take on John's classic track "Tiny Dancer" from 1971.

"Glory," her most recent album, was released in August 2016. A few months later, on November 26, the reggae-pop song "Slumber Party," the second and final single from that album, was released and quickly moved to the top of the US Dance Club Songs rankings.
