Fans of the popular simulation game The Sims 4 will be happy to hear that the next paid content for the game will be available from 10th November, Thursday onwards. The company has announced the release of two new DLCs for the game. Both DLCs (named The Pastel Pop Kit and the Everyday Clutter Kit) are aimed at home decoration.

The Pastel Pop Kit is a collection of "simple and psychedelic" home furnishings and decorations, such as mirrors, shelves, and desk accessories. That means designs from the 1960s and 1970s, like "quirky pastel prints, odd shapes, and a vintage feel."

The Everyday Clutter Kit, the second DLC, adds items that can be used to give homes a "loved and lived-in" look, like coffee mugs and stacks of magazines.

Both the Pastel Pop Kit and the Everyday Clutter Kit will be available for PC, Mac, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One, as well as the other platforms.

For the Pastel Pop Kit, the development team has worked with popular content creator Jesse "Plumbella" McNamara to make a set of items with "quirky pastel prints, odd shapes, and vintage vibes."

There isn't a trailer for either kit pack yet, but the images that came with the announcement give at least a taste of what will be in each DLC. When they come out next month for PC, Mac, PlayStation, and Xbox, they will cost £4.99/$4.99 USD, as you can expect.

The First Fits Kit and the Desert Luxe Kit came out two months before these two kits. Over the next few months, there will be a lot more for The Sims 4. Two expansions and better babies were recently teased at a Behind the Sims Summit event last month. After a lot of guesswork, the next core game in the franchise is being made. The project is called "Project Rene" for now.

It doesn't look like Project Rene will come out for a few years, so The Sims 4 will probably still be supported for a while.

The Sims 4, rates as among the most popular simulation based video games. At one point in time in 2021, it had 36 million players worldwide.
