Silent Hill 2 new edition unveiled. Read to know more about Konami’s horror game

On Wednesday night, Konami announced two brand-new adventures called Silent Hill F and Silent Hill Townfall, along with a recreation of the beloved sequel Silent Hill 2. Furthermore, he also disclosed that the Silent Hill Ascension and a new Return to Silent Hill movie tie-in are also in line.

Concept artist Masahiro Ito and composer Akira Yamaoka developed Pyramid Head, the most famous monster from the first Silent Hill film. It is known for horror movies like Blair Witch and The Medium. The adaptation is produced by the Polish production studio Bloober Team.

Updated Elements

In an interview featured in the declaration, Mateusz Lenart, the creative director of The Bloober Team, spoke about this. He said that while the team tried to maintain the original game's spirit, some aspects had to be updated for the 21st century, like switching from a third-person camera to an "over-the-shoulder" perspective.

Video Teasers

The teaser video for Select Hill Games depicted a retro portable TV device, and Second New F's teaser alluded to a fusion of the Swedish folk horror movie Midsommar and Japanese folklore.

Game Availability

The game will be playable on PC and PS5, with a 12-month PS5 exclusivity period. The date of the game's release was not known.
