Sarah Beeny reveals she had cancer, her boys cut her hair before chemotherapy

Sarah Beeny, a real estate expert and presenter, revealed her diagnosis of breast cancer and stated that she has no intention of letting her illness keep her from working.

Sarah Beeny has acknowledged having breast cancer and that she is presently getting treatment for it. The 50-year-old broadcaster and real estate specialist is well recognized for her work on real estate programs, including Help! Sarah Beeny's New Life in the Country and My House Is Falling Apart.

She declared she is battling the illness with a round of chemotherapy, which she began last week, and that she will also begin a round of radiotherapy in the coming year. The celebrity has sworn not to lie to her children about her condition and acknowledged that she experienced "a little bit of a breakdown" after learning the news in a medical consulting room.

With her artist spouse, Graham Swift, whom she wed in 2003, the presenter has four kids. Sarah informed the Telegraph about her diagnosis and her support system, saying: "I'm blessed because I live in a household where we all chat."

Before informing her son of her disease, she had asked him if she was okay. She then had a conversation with them all. Sarah kept going: "Just now, they asked, "You will be honest?" I assured them that I would continue to exist for a very long time. It will be a little challenging. However, I swear I won't lie. Once I mentioned it, I believe they were fine."

The boys even had their mother's hair trimmed short so she wouldn't have to wait for it to fall out due to the chemo, helping their mother be ready for her treatment. She jokingly remarked that she wouldn't suggest anyone let four adolescent males loose on their hair.

She mocked her children, implying that they would never become famous hairdressers, but she added that there was joy after the tears. The speaker went on to say that she planned to use her "inner strength" throughout her therapy.
