Sadio Mane's exit may be due to manager Jurgen Klopp, says Salif Diao
Ex-Liverpool midfielder Salif Diao thinks that Jurgen Klopp is a factor behind Sadio Mane’s exit.

Mane had a year on his Liverpool contract but left for Bayern Munich this summer in a £35 million deal. While there is speculation about the reason for his exit, former Liverpool midfielder Salif Diao expressed his opinion that it was because Mane did not feel enough love from the manager, Jurgen Klopp.
New Challenges
Salif Diao said, “Things weren’t really going on as they should be,” and said it was the reason behind Mane going for a new challenge. He also stated that it is good for a top player to take on new challenges after every four or five years at a top club.FAQs
- What is Diao’s opinion on Nunez?
Diao expects that Darwin Nunez, who moved to the club in an £85m deal from Benfica in June, will take time adjusting to Liverpool. While there is no confirmation that Nunez is replacing Mane, Diao says, “it would be hard to take his place”, as many people did not realise the amount of hard work that Mane was putting in. - Where is Sadio Mane from, and can he be easily replaced?
Mane is a Senegalese football player. Diao stated that Mane proved he was one of the top three players in the world for the last four years. It would naturally be difficult for any new player to fill his place, and he stated it would take some time.
