Royal Mail strikes to cause huge disruption on Black Friday and Cyber Monday

Shoppers may be left dissatisfied on Black Friday and Cyber Monday since their deals can take longer to arrive. On Black Friday and Cyber Monday, more than 100,000 Royal Mail employees are scheduled to walk off the job as part of their continuous service disruption campaign. On November 25 and November 28, the Communication Workers Union (CWU) scheduled two 48-hour strikes in the lead-up to Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
