Rob Burrow asks wife Lindsey Burrow to find someone else after he dies, here's how she reacts

Rob Burrow’s wife Lindsey Burrow was reportedly reduced to tears after the former English rugby star asked her to find someone else post his death. The Leeds Rhino legend was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease (MND) in December 2019, and since then, Rob has been campaigning to raise funds for research around the disease.



Per media reports, Rob has found support from Scotland rugby star Doddie Weir and Liverpool soccer star Stephen Darby. Weir and Darby were also diagnosed with the same medical condition. Talking to the Mirror, Rob’s wife, Lindsey Burrow, said that the athlete regularly asked her to find someone else as she was young. However, Lindsey Burrow stated that Rob was her “love at first sight” and that no one could replace him.


Lindsey Burrow, an NHS physiotherapist, looks after Rob’s health, works on his physio, and takes him to the swimming pool. She also carries the 40-year-old rugby legend in his wheelchair, as the England and Great Britain representative cannot walk or talk anymore. A Mirror report confirmed that Rob uses an eye-controlled keyboard to communicate.

Rob Burrow said that Lindsey Burrow was the best help he could’ve had and that she was his superhero. However, he mentioned that though they vowed to stay with each other in sickness, he did not expect her to look after him so early in life. On the other hand, Lindsey stated that she was lucky to be Rob’s wife, regardless of the present situation.
