Meghan Markle and Prince Harry formally observed Veterans Day and Remembrance Day by posting a note on the Archewell website. "On this Veterans Day and Remembrance Day, we commemorate servicemembers throughout the world," the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said in their message, titled Remembrance Day.

It went on to say that these heroic men and women, as well as their families, had made enormous sacrifices and exemplified responsibility and service. The Invictus Games Foundation, The Mission Continues, Team Rubicon, Scotty's Little Soldiers, and The Greatest Generation Foundation are just a few organizations we are honored to collaborate with to help veterans and military families. They added, "Thank you for your service today and every day."

The message was accompanied by a black-and-white photograph by Chris Allerton, who has frequently photographed the couple.

A small throng surrounds the pair as they stand in front of military troops, including an officer waving the US flag. This brief post was greatly appreciated by fans of the Sussexes and the organizations with which they collaborate. Among these, The Mission Continues, which supports veteran volunteers working in underserved communities, took to Twitter to express gratitude for Archewell's support and recognition of its mission to empower veterans.

This isn't the first time Meghan and Harry have paid tribute to veterans and the fallen after leaving their senior positions at the firm in the spring of 2020.
