Rapper Chris Kaba: What happened to him, Why is the matter important?
Hundreds of protesters marched in London on Saturday, demanding justice for the slain 24-year-old rapper Chris Kaba.

So what happened?
Kaba's Audi was related to a weapons incident in the preceding days, stated the Automatic Number Plate Recognition camera. On Monday night, two police cars surrounded the car in the suburban street of Kirkstall Gardens in Streatham Hill. Kaba died of a single bullet through the driver's side of the windscreen fired by a professional weapons officer who is no longer on operational duty. The vehicle had no firearms, and it was known later that the vehicle in question was not Kaba's.
According to reports, cops quickly began CPR and requested assistance from emergency services, but he died in the hospital.
The deceased's mother said she was saddened and dumbfounded after receiving the news. His family demanded a formal inquiry into Kaba's death, saying they needed answers. They were concerned that if Chris had not been black, he would have been detained on Monday evening and wouldn't have been killed.
The family also stated that they did not want any delays, as has occurred in previous deadly shootings otherwise, they and the general public will have little trust that the police will be held accountable. Since this announcement last week, it is confirmed that the event is being investigated as a homicide.
