East Midland Passengers will need to check the train schedule coming weekend due to strikes and engineering work. East Midlands passengers are asked to avoid checking train schedules before travelling.

Limited shuttle service may work between Luton and Bedford by Thameslink. Other than that, some replacement buses might be the only other option left.

- Strike days affect train routes, so travellers are advised to check before leaving and travel only if necessary.
- Some engineering work is going to take place between Luton and London. These routes will be busy on the next two weekends, that is, November 5 and 6 and November 12 and 13.
- A national rail strike will happen on November 5, 7 and 9, which will significantly affect the train routes on those days.
- One of the plans includes building a new Brent Cross West. Other plans include constructing a footbridge at St Alban's City station and improving the overhead power lines near South of Bedford.

- No train will run between St Pancras and Luton on Saturday, November 5, and Sunday, November 6.
