The 75-year-old Queen star, Brian May, recently said that his song 'Another World' was originally for the 1998 romantic-comedy movie 'Sliding Doors'. However, the music track was not featured in the film due to some contractual issues.

In early 2022, Brian reissued 'Another World', the Queen singer's 1998 second solo album. He reissued the album from Greenwich's Royal Observatory. After he reissued it, Queen fans learned that the song was slated to be used in 'Sliding Doors'.
The romantic-comedy movie was centered around two different paths that the main character's life could have taken. Therefore the song had the lyric, "In Another World..." The role of lead character was played by Gwyneth Paltrow.
The song could not be featured in the movie 'Sliding Doors' due to some contractual issues. While talking about the song, Brian stated that he found writing 'Another World' easy as it reflected his feelings and relationship. He felt "heartbroken" when the music did not make it to the movie, added Brian. The song 'Another World' talked about the possibilities of several events in a parallel universe.
Brian shot a new video for the song 'Another World'. The new video was shot in the Canary Islands, where the Queen singer studied for his Ph.D. in Physics at the Teide Observatory of Tenerife. The new video has prominently featured the observatory and the El Hierro island tree. The tree is on the album cover of 'Another World' too.
