Queen Elizabeth's funeral: Waiting time to pay last respects touches 14 hours

There is a huge queue of people to see the late Queen. The wait for paying last respects has reached around 14 hours. The officials have also said the line of the people looking to bid final goodbye to Queen is almost five-mile-long.

Long queues of people can be witnessed of the people looking to pay last respects to late Queen Elizabeth. The waiting time seems to have reached 14 hours. Authorities could be seen distributing water bottles to the people, who were waiting. People were told to maintain pin-drop silence at Westminister Hall. Fiona Holloran, a Ph.D. student, visiting to see the Queen cried after paying her respects. Another 34-year-old visitor, who had a baby strapped to her, said the wait was worth it. She noted how everyone was waiting and no one was pushing, maintaining a certain level of discipline.

Amy Harris, another visitor, believed the Westminister Hall's atmosphere was breathtaking and very peaceful.

King Charles III and the Queen Consort, Camilla, have arrived for their official visit to Wales. The royals visited the Llandaff cathedral in Cardiff on Friday and were due at Cardiff castle and the Welsh parliament later. Prince William is now the Prince of Wales after his father became King on Queen Elizabeth II's death. After the Queen's death, the royal couple visited Northern Ireland and Scotland, the nations that make up the UK.
