What time does coverage start?

The duties will begin at 6.30 am with the service at Westminster Abbey. The BBC will start coverage of the Queen's state funeral from 11 am on Monday, September 19.

Will the funeral be broadcast on the radio?

The BBC Sounds app will likely follow the funeral, as will the main BBC radio stations. Other stations will also broadcast the event.

The duties will begin in the morning, and service will be held before noon. A second televised committal service will be held at St George's Chapel in Windsor.

There will be no public access to either service. There will only be heads of state and senior politicians from around the world in attendance. The public is expected to watch as the coffin travels from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey and Windsor's Long Walk.
