Cameras have captured the flag draped around Queen’s coffin leaving the Balmoral Palace where she took her last breath on Thursday afternoon.

Queen Elizabeth II was the longest-serving monarch who bore the burden of the crown for seven decades. After her death, people offered floral tributes outside the Balmoral Estate, Windsor Castle, and Buckingham Palace.

How was the journey from Balmoral to Edinburgh with a royal procession?

Queen’s coffin draped with the flag of the monarch travelled from Balmoral to Edinburgh. The estimated time for the road journey was 6 hours. People and well-wishers lined up along both sides of the roads to pay last tribute to one of the most-loving monarchs in British royal history.

Following the car that carried the coffin were the counselors of the queen, her daughter, Princess Anne, and Tim Lawrence. People were even seeing shedding their tears as respect and gratitude towards one of the best monarchs. All these people respected her due to the service she offered to the great United Kingdoms, countries where she was the head of the state, and commonwealth countries.

The entire journey was telecasted and it looked quite ethereal as the queen’s coffin passed through the Scottish Highlands. When the convoy reached Edinburgh Castle, Princess Anne, Countess of Wessex, Prince Andrew, and other members of the royal family paid their tribute by bowing their heads. In fact, the Countess of Wessex was seen comforting Princess Royal as her mother’s coffin entered the castle’s gates.
