The national mourning for Queen Elizabeth II will last till the day of her funeral, which is on Monday, September 19.

Time & place of Queen's funeral:

The Queen's funeral will happen at 11:00 BST on Monday, September 19. It will take place where Britain's queens and kings are crowned, and other ceremonies of national significance are held, i.e., in the historic church of Westminster Abbey in London.

With the playing of the Last Post, the funeral ceremony will draw closure just before noon on Monday. After that, a national silence of two minutes will be observed.



Who will wear military uniform at Queen's funeral:

According to Buckingham Palace, only those who held military rank and working members of the Royal Family could wear military uniforms. They could wear it at all the five formal events indicating the Queen's death.

This implies that the Princes Royal, the Earl of Wessex, and King Charles, the Prince of Wales, will wear military uniforms.

The Duke of Sussex and Prince Andrew will not wear uniforms at most events.
