Sheffield was home to one of the murkiest murders as a drug-addicted man admitted to killing four people. Terri Harris (35), Lacey Bennet (11), John Paul Bennet (13) and Connie Gent (11) were killed by Terri's friend and the father of her unborn child, identified as Damien Bendall. The killer further went on to rape Lacey. Damien confessed that the victims didn't stand a chance while he searched them out in separate rooms, bludgeoned them, and killed them in the process, according to reports.

Damien used a hammer as weapon.

Prosecutor Louis Mably KC accused Damien Bendall of killing the defenseless innocents in cold blood.

The house belonged to Terri Harris in Chandos Crescent, where Damien lived with them. After killing them, all Damien left the house and bought some tobacco and drugs in exchange for an Xbox. The court also saw video footage of Damien telling the police officers that he killed four people whose bodies were found on September 19.

Damien called his mother, who reported to the police that her son suffered self-inflicted wounds. Damien left the house again to buy tobacco and, on returning, called 999 to report his crime and confess to killing four people.

The defense pleaded guilty on Damien's behalf and said he hopes to be sent behind bars for the rest of his life. Damien believes that he has committed a heinous crime, and by going behind bars, he could atone for his crime, which would give relief to the families of those he eliminated. The police arrested Damien after treating him at a local hospital for minor injuries. The verdict is expected to be issued on Wednesday, December 21.
