EA Sports will be releasing an update that will bring the upcoming Qatar FIFA World Cup 2022 to the recently launched FIFA 2023 video game. As per reports, the free update will be available for all platforms except the Nintendo Switch. The update is scheduled to drop on November 9.

The major update will bring the 32 nations qualified for the World Cup 2022 to the latest FIFA football game. Additionally, EA sports assured that select teams that couldn’t qualify for the finals would be making as subs, giving some hope to Scotland and Northern Ireland fans.



World Cup 2022 will take place in Qatar. The biggest football event, which takes place every four years, will begin on Sunday, November 20, with the opening game between home team Qatar and Ecuador. The final game will be played on December 18. Defending world champions France will be playing their first game against Australia on November 23.
