During her visit to Kirkgate market, Princess of Wales had an interaction with vendors and locals. Kate Middleton inquired about vendors and locals' experiences while growing up.
The princess in a video message said that early childhood shapes the rest of their lives.
The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood has launched a new campaign, "Shaping Us". The project is reportedly a long-term one and Kate's "life's work".
"Today, the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood is launching a new campaign, Shaping Us, to raise awareness of the life-changing impact we can have when we build a supportive, nurturing world around children and those who care for them," Princess of Wales Kate Middleton said.
Earlier in 2012, Princess of Wales Kate Middleton had launched an initiative called "Child Friendly Leeds". The initiative exhorted businesses, residents and institutions for strive towards making the Leeds the best place for youngsters during their formative years.
