The Royal Couple signed off with their initials, W and C, to include the personalisation factor. The royals shared a message after learning that many youngsters died due to the stampede on the streets of Seoul. Many people gathered at the location, which is a narrow street. Social distancing norms had been lifted so that people could mingle freely for the first time since Halloween 2019.
People got crushed into each other in that narrow strip, and many collapsed. Dead bodies were lined up along the streets, covered in blue blankets. Some people administered CPR on the streets, and many died due to suffocation. The ordinary public and first responders tried to help suffocating victims who were lying unconscious.
