Prince Harry's charity visit to Africa 'proved people wrong', says royal expert

As a part of Prince Harry’s charity work with Africa Parks, he recently went on a trip to Mozambique and Rwanda, and also met with diplomats there.

Last week, Prince Harry went on a trip to two African nations Rwanda and Mozambique as a representative of the charity Africa Parks. According to Jennie Bond, a journalist, and royal expert, by making this three-day trip to African countries, Prince Harry has "sent a message".

Until the Duke of Sussex was already on the trip there was no formal declaration of the tour. In 2016 when Prince Harry was working in Malawi on an elephant translocation project, he got involved with Africa Parks. And later in 2017 became the president of the organization.

In the past, Prince Harry said he "completely fell in love with" the Africa Parks charity. He also related in the past that Africa Parks “get things done”, make “tough decisions” and also “stick to principles”.

The non-profit charity works to manage national parks and other protected areas in collaboration with African governments and local communities with the key objective of Africa’s wildlife protection.

According to the spokesperson of the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry was touring protected wildlife and nature areas with a group of “U.S. officials, conservationists, and philanthropists” whom he was co-hosting too.

The journalist Jennie Bond has claimed that the solo trips by the Prince were his way of “sending a message”. She also expressed her surprise at the lack of immediate media attention this tour got.

She was completely dumbfounded at how the Prince could pass through London by completely going under the radar.

According to her, the price must have been “disguised rather heavily”. She said that she could have been sure of a Netflix crew accompanying him but this charity is very close to the Prince's heart.

Jennie continued the conversation by saying that “His heart is in Africa” and that she “don’t doubt his sincerity”.

She believes that if it’s not a part of a Netflix deal then the trip could be a message to the Prince’s doubters that his and wife Megan’s not wanting to be high profile is a real thing.
