Prince Harry has defended his decision of publishing the tell-all memoir ‘Spare’. While the leaked excerpts from his book have already begun to cause a stir across the globe and people across the globe have opined on the upcoming memoir, the Duke of Sussex explained he wanted to publish the details of his relationship with his family members saying that, “I don’t know how staying silent is ever going to make things better.”
In an interview with ITV’s Tom Bradby, which would broadcast on Sunday, Prince Harry can be seen defending his forthcoming book. Remarkably, he did not even confirm if he would attend his father, King Charles III’s coronation ceremony. Instead, the Duke of Sussex, who stepped away from the working members of the royal family in 2020, told the interviewer, “There’s a lot that can happen between now and then”.
While responding to any indication that he violated his family members’ privacy by publishing the details of his interactions with them in the book, Prince harry claimed that the individuals who criticise him “don’t understand or want to believe” that the press was being briefed by his family.
