According to reports, the duo is returning empty-handed to California without a peace deal with the royal family. The effort to unite was visible as Harry and William made appearances together several times with their father, King Charles III. Gayle said seeing the Duke of Sussex stands with his family was good. While people would have hoped that Queen Elizabeth II's death and the tragedy could have brought the royal brothers and their wives together, it is not the case, even if they put on a united front. The two brothers and their wives were all together during the state funeral and put on a united front at many events. The Sussexes have been away from home for two weeks and will return soon.
