Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have received an email invitation to King Charles III's coronation, but it is unclear whether the couple will attend. Buckingham Palace has not commented on the invitations, and it is believed that some guests are being asked to save the date ahead of the official invitations to be sent later.

The coronation of King Charles and Camilla, the Queen Consort, will take place on May 6 at Westminster Abbey, which has a capacity for around 2,200 guests, including public figures, politicians, international dignitaries, the king's family and friends.

Prince Harry's memoir, which revealed tensions with his family, has sparked speculation about whether he will attend the coronation and what role he might play. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were not part of the appearances on the Buckingham Palace balcony during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, and it is uncertain if they will take part in the coronation celebrations.


In an online interview on Saturday, Prince Harry said that he has always "felt slightly different" from other members of his family, and that his late mother, Diana, had felt the same way. The couple were also recently asked to vacate their UK base in Windsor, Frogmore Cottage.
