Meghan Markle, who is professionally separated from Prince Harry, issues a statement after her one Thanksgiving appearance. According to reports, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are now going through a professional separation, with their working relationship in a very bad state.

Indeed, the forty-year-old Harry and the forty-year-old Suits veteran have been observed attending events on their own in recent months. The Sussexes' Archewell Foundation recently sponsored Markle's small luncheon for the Southern California Welcome Project. Nonetheless, her spouse did not attend the event.

Following the Thanksgiving event, the former actress released a statement on the Archewell website, in which she discussed the heartfelt dinner she hosted for Afghan women with their partner organisation, Mina's List, as quoted in a report by The New York Post.

This initiative has spent the past year building community through storytelling and creating a safe space for women who have resettled in the US from Afghanistan, a statement read.

The evening included a shared meal that encouraged open discussion about gratitude and resilience. Markle thanked attendees for sharing their personal stories and cultural experiences and plans to host similar events in the future, according to the statement.

According to Markle, the dinner was held at Our Place, founded by Shiza Shahid, where the participants were gifted with new cookware for the upcoming holiday season.

It ends by saying that the duchess remains committed to uplifting women and fostering community through shared experiences, reinforcing the importance of unity and support during challenging times.

It comes after Markle was spotted attending a beauty launch event with her celebrity friends without her husband, and Harry attended a series of events in Vancouver last week related to the Invictus Games.

The pair did appear in a joint video in honour of Veteran’s Day earlier this month, discussing prioritizing children’s safety online through their Archewell Foundation.

The duo are expected to attend the 2025 Invictus Games in Canada, which will take place from Feb. 8 to Feb. 16. At last year’s games, Markle hinted that their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, may make an appearance at the next event.
