The Prince of Wales's recent meetings with the Queen were unusual ahead of the crucial decision next month. Majesty Magazine's Ingrid Seward said it is highly uncommon for Prince Charles to make these surprising visits to meet his mother. He added that it is a common belief that the members of the royal family often meet each other, but they normally don't because of the geographic barriers as they are separated around the country.
The regular visits began after it was announced that the United Kingdom would go through a historic and crucial change as the Crown would appoint a new Prime Minister at Balmoral in September.
According to The Sun, the 96-year-old sovereign could name a new Prime Minister at Balmoral rather than Buckingham Palace for the first time in history.
The sources have shared that the Queen is now advised not to travel much. But it is ultimately her decision because no one tells the Queen what she should do. It is evident as she also made a third appearance on the balcony at Buckingham Palace at the Jubilee. The monarch likes surprises.

When the Prime Minister can simply reach Balmoral, it may not seem to be a good decision to make the monarch travel 1,000 miles and back to the current location for a 48-hour visit.
The Queen has moved out of Buckingham Palace in support of Windsor, and that has raised several questions about where the meeting would be held if the Queen was involved.
The Queen has been away from the public eye since getting off her plane at Aberdeen Airport on July 21. Meanwhile, Prince Andrew is also at Balmoral and came a day after the Queen arrived.
